We've Reached The Last Article of 2020!

Hello!

Well here we are the last day of the year..Tomorrow we'll wake up in 2021 and this strange year of 2020 will be over. It's time to reflect back on the year and set new goals for the next one! Have you made any resolutions or set any goals yet? I think that we need to be really positive and do our best to enjoy ourselves...

It's been a tough one indeed in so many ways, but as the eternal optimist that I am, who looks for the silver lining in each difficult situation, I have found several positive things that this pandemic has brought to the fore.
In my personal life I loved the way the first confinement surrounded me with such a peaceful environment and watched as nature retook its place in our busy polluted world.
I also appreciated taking time to live simply with my close family, simply talking to each other, playing board games or on the Wii, numerous games of Monopoly ( that I never won!), not feeling pressurised to buy the latest this or that and just living as authentically as we possibly could.
In my business I was one of the 'lucky' ones who works as a creative entrepreneur and the confinement meant that many woman had time to stitch and do embroidery and needed supplies! I had a good year to be honest and although had a lot of work, enjoyed every minute of it knowing that I was contributing to the pleasure and well being of my customers.

So this week's article will be a quick one. I'll be launching a mini contest to guess the January pack colours and extending the silver envelope contest too..and I'll tell you a little more about the 2021 Star Temperature SAL.

Silver Envelope Contest

Monday I did a post Christmas tidy up in my office and moved out some boxes to dust under a desk. I pulled out one of my silver padded envelopes that I send my monthly subscription in and realised that it was full!

One of the December pack envelopes containing the 10 threads below and three gifts (a Christmas chart designed by Corinne from Tralala, a metallic thread from Au Vers a Soie and a Christmas Pukka tea bag) had slipped under the desk and was waiting to be discovered a couple of weeks after sending them out!

I thought it would be nice to put the December pack up for a free giveaway! So for any one who would like to subscribe to my monthly thread subscription and start in January you have a few days left ( I'm putting the January pack together right now) to do so. When you subscribe you have a chance to win the December pack in this Silver envelope contest!
I can tell you that you'll have a great chance to win as for the moment there are 3 subscribers entered for the contest!

There are 4 different ways to sign up for the subscription that you can discover here:

I'll let you know in next weeks article who the lucky winner is! GOOD LUCK!

January Pack Contest

As a mini contest for everyone to take part in here is the January pack contest. A black and white photo of the future pack.. all you have to do is give me your ideas and answers to tell me either the theme or the colours of the next pack.

All the correct replies will be put in a hat and one lucky person will receive one of the threads from the pack! I'll announce the name of the lucky winner next year (LOL) next Thursday.. Good Luck!

2021 365 Temperature Star SAL

There's still time to join the 2021 Temperature SAL if you would like to join us! I've been blown away by the amazing response the SAL has had and there are around 250 participants so far! It's going to be a great SAL and we're going to illuminate our 2021 year together!

This year I have chosen the Star theme for this SAL... a guided and important choice for our well-being in 2021. I asked my current SAL group what they would like and stars was one of the ideas I liked the most.

After having lived through this very particular year this year, I think that it's important for us to take time for oneself and be able to dream. I have been setting goals a lot this year and have succeeded in reaching many of them, and have started putting things into motion in order to try and attain others, even the wildest ones!

Each star in our SAL represents a goal for me and as we stitch, work and share each star together I'd like to think that we all will be dreaming of, designing and reaching for our own stars, little by little ... step by step .... With these moments of relaxation, and I hope personal revelations and success, by the end of the year you'll have a beautiful piece of stitching unique to you and in addition a feeling of true fulfilment and total well being.

This year I decided not to charge for the SAL. We have all had a difficult year and I know some of you are struggling financially. For this reason access to the SAL and the group will be free. However, I've created an account on Ko-fi.com/tometlilycreations if you want to buy me a symbolic coffee or two to cover my time and reward my work, with no obligation at all. It's there for those who can or those who simply want to.

For more information about the SAL please follow this link: http://bit.ly/SALTemperature2021

To join the Facebook group please ask to join at this address: https://www.facebook.com/groups/205660424487316
I will open up the group after Christmas has been celebrated so you can get all the information you need to organise your fabric and threads, and be ready for the kick off on the 1st January!

Happy Stitching!
