SAL Tree of Love - September +++

 

Hi there!

Can you believe we're already in the month of October!  Summer temps have faded into crisp mornings but quite hot afternoons down here in the south of France, so we're making the most of being in the sunshine and absorbing our daily dose of vitamin D3 to help us keep our immune systems strong!

The October thread packs are almost ready to be on their way to the lucky subscribers in the monthly thread pack and I'm really enjoying hand dyeing new threads and discovering new colour mixes and techniques! 

I'm a bit late sending off the packs this month due to a sporting accident and an awkward fall a couple of weeks ago..I managed to tear an intercostal muscle so my movements haven't been as fast as I've wanted and I've been forced to slow down...I can't begin to explain the pain when I sneeze!

Earlier this week I launched a quick contest to guess the theme of the October pack and have had lots of stitchers sending me their guesses..I'll be announcing the winner later in this article..don't worry i won't be revealing the colours just yet..only the name of the lucky thread winner!

For now I'm going to be sharing photos of the SAL group's progress with everyone's pictures and the finished September branches too.

Tree of Love SAL - September

Here are the September progress pictures and finished branches from all over the world ... France, Italy, Holland, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and USA ... for now! All different and unique for each stitcher. 

They're great aren't they? I am very happy to see how completely different each tree is from each other, and how much everyone is having fun stitching and being together in this group.

Congratulations to all those up to date and I strongly encourage all the others wherever you are on your SAL!
