Photos Pack Mars + Concours Pack Avril

Bonjour!

Il est temps de révéler les photos du pack de mars, car la plupart des packs sont arrivés à destination ... certains plus loin ne l'ont pas encore fait, mais ce ne sera pas long maintenant.

Ce pack lumineux et original était tellement amusant à créer pour vous car il contient de superbes verts et quelques fils exclusifs. Je l'ai nommé ESPOIR car il est composé de différentes nuances de vert associées a l'espoir. Le mois de mars est aussi le mois de la Saint-Patrick donc le vert était un choix évident!

Je prépare déjà le nouveau pack pour le mois prochain et je partagerai une photo en noir et blanc pour que vous essayiez de deviner quel est le thème de couleur pour le pack d'avril ... Il y aura un de ces fils du pack à gagner pour le nom gagnant sorti du chapeau!

Voici un concours rapide et facile avec lequel lancer le pack d'avril. Les couleurs du pack de mars étaient assez faciles à deviner le mois dernier, n'est-ce pas?! Le mois de la St Patrick ne pouvait être que des verts!

Il est donc temps de mettre vos idées en motion et de proposer le thème de couleur pour le pack d'avril. Jetez un œil à cette photo en noir et blanc ci-dessous (trois des fils du mois prochain y figurent), écrivez votre (vos) supposition (s) ci-dessous et revenez ici la semaine prochaine pour voir si vous avez gagné l'un des fils du pack d'avril! Information sur la Livraison

Les commandes pour le pack d'avril débuteront aujourd'hui 25 mars et se clôtureront le 31 mars à minuit. Toute commande reçue après minuit le 31 mars recevra le pack de Mai.

Sachez qu'il me reste souvent quelques packs et que les premières commandes reçues après le 31 peuvent être éligibles pour les packs d'avril restants. Dites moi si vous souhaitez commencer avec le pack d'avril.

Si vous choisissez l'abonnement mensuel, vous n'aurez pas à commander à nouveau car vous recevrez votre pack tous les mois après réception de votre paiement récurrent automatique via Paypal. Si vous ne souhaitez plus recevoir votre abonnement, vous pouvez simplement annuler les paiements récurrents dans Paypal, ou m'envoyer un message et je peux le faire pour vous.

Si vous n'avez pas de compte Paypal mais que vous souhaitez tout de même acheter la version mensuelle de l'abonnement, veuillez me contacter et je pourrai configurer cela pour vous.

March Pack Photos + April Pack Contest

Hi There!

Its time to reveal the March pack photos, as most of the packs have arrived at their destinations...some further afield haven't yet, but won't be long now. 

This bright and quirky pack was such fun to create for you as it contains some great greens and a couple of exclusive threads.  I named it HOPE because it's made up of different shades of green that is associated to green. The month of March is also the month of St Patrick's Day so green was an obvious choice!

I'm already preparing the new pack for next month and will be sharing a black and white photo for you to try and guess what the colour theme is for the April pack... There'll be one of those threads from the pack up for grabs for the winning name pulled out of the hat!

Here is a quick and easy contest to launch the April pack with. The March pack colours were fairly easy to guess last month, were they not?! The month of St Patrick's could only be greens!

So it's time to get your thinking caps on and come up with the colour theme for the April pack. Have a look at this black and white photo below ( three of next months threads are featured on it), write your guess(es) below and come back here next week to see if you have won one of the April pack threads! Remember that I often choose a theme that is linked to things going on in the month...

Orders for the April Pack opens today, 25th March and will close on the 31st April at midnight. Any orders received after midnight on the 1st April will receive the May pack. 

Please be aware that I have a few packs left over and the first orders received after the 31st may qualify for any left over April packs. Please let me know if you'd like to start with the April pack.

If you choose the monthly subscription you won't have to order again as you'll receive your pack every month after I receive your automatic recurring payment through Paypal. If you no longer wish to receive your subscription you can simply cancel the recurring payments in Paypal, or send me a message and I can do it for you.

If you don't have a Paypal account but would still like to buy the monthly version of  the subscription please contact me and I can set this up for you. 

I will be hand dyeing the threads to order and need a week to 10 days to do this. You will receive your subscription from the 15th of the month onwards. This delay depends on where you live of course and of the current postal situation!

Nouvelle Toile + Le Symbolism du VERT

Cette semaine, j'ai préparé les choses pour le pack d'avril dans mon abonnement au fil. J'essaie de prendre de l'avance sur moi-même et d'avoir un abonnement d'un mois prêt à partir à l'avance ... cela signifierait moins de stress à la fin du mois et plus de temps pour moi pour créer d'autres offres interessants pour vous!

Dans cet article, je vais annoncer la gagnante de mon concours nouvelle toile! La semaine dernière, j'ai révélé la nouvelle couleur de toile à broder et je vous ai demandé de me donner vos meilleurs noms. J'avais tellement de réponses avec beaucoup de jolies idées de couleurs ... J'étais un peu dépassé pour être honnête ... Je ne pense pas avoir eu autant de personnes participant à l'un de mes concours avant! Un grand merci à tous! C'est juste dommage que je ne puisse pas vous récompenser tous ... eh bien peut-être que je peux ... garder un œil sur mes plateformes de médias sociaux pour savoir comment dans quelques temps ...

Pour commencer l'article aujourd'hui, je vais parler de la couleur verte et brièvement de ce qu'elle représente et de son symbolisme! Bonne Lecture!

Symbolism de la Couleur VERTE

La couleur verte est associée au quatrième chakra, celui du cœur. Le chakra à mi-chemin du corps, dans la poitrine, représentant l'amour de soi et la gratitude. Le cœur lui-même est magenta mais le vert est tout ce qui entoure le cœur. Nous associons le vert à la nature bien sûr, et à toute vie végétale. Il est apaisant, rafraîchissant et a même des valeurs curatives antiseptiques.

Dans la culture occidentale, c'est associée à la chance. Mais au cinéma et au théâtre cette couleur est taboue et interdite!

Cette croyance a été héritée du Moyen Âge. À cette époque, l'oxyde de cuivre était utilisé pour teindre les costumes en vert. Ce composé chimique, très toxique, et très instable en présence d'humidité, était connu pour avoir été à l'origine de nombreuses intoxications dans le monde. C'est la raison de cette étrange tradition ...

Le vert reflète aussi l'équilibre et l'amour de soi, l'indépendance et l'autonomie et bien sûr l'espoir. Lorsque vous aimez cette couleur, vous êtes probablement très à l'aise d'être seul et heureuse au grand air!

Au contraire, ne pas aimer le vert implique souvent qu'une personne aime être entourée de sa famille et de ses amis et aime se sentir rassurée et ne pas etre seule.

Le Vert dans La Broderie

Le vert est très à la mode en ce moment dans le monde de la broderie. Si vous avez un compte sur Instagram ou si vous allez sur Pinterest, vous n'auriez pas pu manquer cette tendance. Les plantes succulentes et les cactus brodés sont très appréciés!

New Fabric Name + Symbolism of GREEN

Hi There!

This week I've been getting things ready for the April pack in my thread subscription..I'm trying to get ahead of myself and have one months subscription ready to go in advance...this would mean less stress at the end of the month and more time for me to create other amazing offers for you!

In this article I'll be announcing the winner of my flash fabric colour contest! Last week I revealed the new fabric colour and asked you to give me your best names for it. I had so many answers with lots of lovely colour ideas..I was a bit overwhelmed to be honest... I don't think I've ever had as many people entering one of my contests before! A sincere big thank you to you all! It's just a shame that I can't reward all of you...well maybe I can..keep an eye out on my social media platforms to find out how very soon...

To begin the article today I'll talk about the colour Green and briefly what it represents and it's symbolism! Enjoy!

Symbolism of the Colour GREEN

The colour Green is associated with the fourth chakra, that of the heart. The one halfway down the body, in the chest, representing self-love and gratitude. The heart itself is Magenta but green is all that surrounds the heart. We associate green with nature of course, and all plant life. It's soothing, refreshing and even has antiseptic healing values.

In Western culture, it's associated luck. But in the cinema and the theatre this colour is taboo and forbidden! 
This belief was inherited from the Middle Ages. At that time, copper oxide was used to dye the costumes green. This chemical compound, being very toxic, and very unstable in the presence of moisture, was known to have been at the origin of many intoxications in the acting world.  That's the reason for this strange tradition ...

Green also reflects balance and love for oneself, independence and autonomy and of course hope.  When you like this colour you're probably very comfortable being on your own, and are happy in the great outdoors!

On the contrary, not liking green often implies that a person likes to be surrounded by family and friends and likes to feel reassured and not alone.

Green in Embroidery

Green is very fashionable right now in the world of embroidery. If you have an account on Instagram or you go on Pinterest you wouldn't have been able to miss this trend. Succulents and embroidered cacti are very popular!

NOUVELLE Couleur de Toile A Broder!

 

Salut!

Cette semaine a été un peu folle pour moi car j'ai préparé le pack de fils de mars et rencontré des problèmes avec mon imprimante..2 pièces à changer (l'une après l'autre bien sûr) et puis ma commande de toner n'est pas arrivée donc j'ai été retardé dans toutes mes impressions! Ce fut une semaine chargée et stressante!

Tout va bien maintenant et les packs de mars ont été envoyés aujourd'hui ... alors guettez l'arrivée de votre sympathique facteur.

L'article de cette semaine sera court et doux. J'annoncerai la gagnante de mon concours flash pour trouver la couleur de la toile dans mon seau et j'en lancerai un nouveau pour nommer la nouvelle couleur! NEW Stitching Fabric Colour Revealed...

 

Hi There!

This week has been a bit manic for me as I've been preparing the March thread pack and encountered problems with my printer..2 parts to change (one after the other of course) and then my toner order didn't arrive so I was delayed in doing all my printing! It has been a busy and stressful week!

Everything is OK now and the march packs were sent today..so watch out for your friendly postman arriving soon.

Mini Fabric Colour Contest

Last week I shared a black and white photo of a new fabric colour and asked you to guess which colour it was. I had so many answers with lots of lovely colour ideas..some of which have given me some great new colour ideas by the by!!

Now that the colour has been divulged, it's time to find a name for it. As it's not always easy to see the real colour on your screen I would describe this green as menthol. Half way from a deep emerald to a tropical lagoon...
