After quite a long break I’m back on my blog! So much has been going on that I’ve not been able to get a chance to sit down and take the time necessary to write an article!
Well I don’t know about you but I’ve had a couple of fun packed months and a pretty mad month of May!
I managed to get away to England to see my parents, sisters and uncle and aunt that I hadn’t seen for two and a half years due to the pandemic and its restrictions! How wonderful it felt to take a plane again, see my family in real life not on a screen and to be able to soak up the vibes in my home town and London as if nothing had ever happened .. a refreshing break for me as I hadn’t had more than a couple of days off since the beginning of it all.
Not an easy feat for me to stop working and allow myself to switch off for 10 days, but it was well worth it and much easier than I had imagined! I gifted myself some me time, slowed down, did things I don’t usually do, spent time with family and plunged myself into English life again. I adopted the advice that I often give to you all and created time for myself and it was amazing!
That’s why today's article will be outlining my new adventure, shared this time with my friend and fellow designer Dominique from Le Jardin d’Emilie. A new bespoke stitching box that encourages you to take a moment for yourself and learn or consolidate cross stitch and other embroidery techniques too! A Cross Stitch Box Made In France To Boost Your Creativity and Well Being
Whether you are a novice or an expert, you'll be able to discover a colourful and original design or object to make every month in the form of a monthly subscription. We offer you the possibility, in most of our boxes, to hand stitch on unique hand-dyed fabric by Tom & Lily Creations as well as a selection of Le Fil Atalie or Colour Gem ranges of over-dyed threads promising a unique finished stitched piece...
The cross stitch projects will follow a seasonal theme (3 for each season) and as the year progresses the monthly themes and colours will change.
The extra bonus: every 3 months (every third box) we will approach or consolidate a different stitching technique: Traditional Embroidery, Blackwork in Colour, Silk Ribbon, Sashiko and many others!
Technical support will be provided for you in each box or in the form of a video that you'll be able to activate with a personal code or watch in the Box du Moment dedicated Facebook group.
The monthly subscription formula will allow you to receive your box of the moment directly in your mailbox, without additional shipping costs. All supplies will be included in the box, as well as instructions for stitching and assembling if necessary.
