Hello How have you been since last Thursday? Well I hope?
Last week I participated at the Fils Croisés Creative Show in Agde (between Beziers and Montpellier in the Herault region in the south of France. I met some old acquaintances and made new friends too! .. I am delighted to have met you! So as promised here are some photos to give you the impression that you're visiting the show!
The Poster
The Venue
As shown on the poster, the show was held at the Moulin des Evêques (The Bishop's Mill) in the center of Agde. A long time ago, it was a flour mill, then it became a sardine packing factory. My Stand
We setup our stand on Wednesday afternoon, with beautiful sun shining outside and the heat to go with it!
Our campsite
Once that was done ( 4 hours approximately) we went and discovered our mobile home for a well deserved rest, in a campsite next to the canal!
Artistic encounter
My favorite part of the show was an encounter with Galla, a Russian textile artist and her beautiful accent and Eastern charm.
Originally she trained as an interior decorator but dabbles in everything that is decoration and textile creation based.
These patchwork pieces were exposed right next to my stand, and instantly appealed to me because of their complexity and Galla's use of colour, they are beautiful... colour is my thing, you know that by now right?... I am not a very patchwork person normally but I couldn't not be very appreciative of this beautiful work. Here are three of my favorites

So how about you?
- What did you do last weekend?
- Do you like patchwork?
- What do you do in addition to embroidery?
If you liked this report, do not hesitate to share it with your friends! I hope that you have a lot of fun and happiness whilst you stitch and see you next week!
Happy Stitching!
